Adding the Industrial Gadgets .NET Components to the Toolbox

NOTE: The Industrial Gadgets .NET installer automatically adds the icons to your Visual Studio toolbox. If you selected that option during installation, you can proceed to the second step, Adding Gadgets to your Form. Otherwise, follow these directions to add the Industrial Gadgets .NET components to your toolbox:

Please note: These directions are for adding the Industrial Gadgets .NET Library 2 to your form. To add Industrial Gadgets .NET Library 1, follow the directions below and replace references to Library 2 with Library 1.

1. Decide to which tab you wish to place the components. If you wish to create a new tab, right-click on the toolbox, select "Add Tab", and enter in a name for the tab.

2. Right click within your tab on the toolbox, and select "Choose Items".

3. Under the .NET components tab, find the Industrial Gadget .NET component and check the checkbox next to the component name. NOTE: Sorting by "Namespace" makes finding these items easier.

4. Click OK, and the components will appear in the toolbox.

5. You are now ready to proceed to the next step.
